The Bermuda Triangle is one of the world’s biggest vague mysteries. Also known as Devil’s Triangle, the triangle extends from the island of Bermuda to Miami, USA to San Juan, Puerto Rico and is believed to contain a mystic secret. You will not find the Bermuda Triangle on a map, but the name can hit fear into the hearts of many people. Thousands of people and numerous planes, ships and boats have gone inside this triangle. Explanations given for these disappearances vary from scientific to myth. Here are some shocking facts you didn’t know about the Bermuda Triangle.

FIRST PERSON TO TRAVEL BERMUDA TRIANGLE:
The story of Bermuda Triangle was begun a long time ago in 1492, when Christopher Columbus travelled through Bermuda triangle. When he travelled first time the triangle, he saw a lightened object was raise from the ocean and fly in the sky. Next time, they saw many star like objects spinning above them. During all these occasions, he also mentioned that his compass was not working properly and moving round all the time.

BRUCE GERNON
It is rumored that Bruce Gernon is one of the victims who came back safe from Bermuda triangle. He was a pilot who flew with his father in the Bahamas since 1967. In December 1970, he with his father and a friend set the plane to endorse. They flew straight through a cloud which was only 500 feet from the ocean. They got a call from Miami Plane Service that weather is spouse to be fine so they continued they flight. After 10 minutes they passed through a cloud and found themselves on the height of 11000 feet surrounded by flashlights but there was no rain or lights there. Their plane instruments were not working properly there. They continued and after few minutes they again passed through a cloud and when they came out, they found themselves in Miami which was impossible because they flew only 30 minutes and it was impossible to go a height of 11000 feet and come again on 500.
It is a mystery even today that how they went to such height and came back again. Some rumors that they time traveled or clouds brought the plane to such a height.

USS cyclops
USS cyclops was a beast ship which was used to supply oil to the American army in World War One. It was 522 feet long and had a capacity to store 12000-ton water in it at once. On March 18, 1918, the ship was disappeared in the inky water of Bermuda triangle on its way to Barbados to Baltimore and no remains were ever found. There are numerous theories about cyclops that what had happened to it? but none of one were proved. This is still a mystery that what happened to the ship. It is rumored that probably ship was sunk in Bermuda Triangle
Lost City Of Atlantis
Two researchers, Paul Weinzweig and Pauline Zalitzki, have confirmed that a huge city exists at the bottom of the ocean. The ancient city includes sphinxes and four giant pyramids and sits within the boundaries of the Bermuda Triangle. Many people believe that this could be the lost city of Atlantis.
Atlantic Undersea Test And Evaluation Center
Inside the Bermuda Triangle, the American Government has Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center which is located on the Bahamas’ Andros Island. Here the Navy tests their sonar, submarines and other weapons. However, several people believe that it is more than just the testing center.

Navy Avenger Torpedo Bombers
One of the biggest losses of US Military happened back in 1945. Five US Navy Avenger torpedo bombers flew from the Fort Lauderdale Naval Air Station, Florida, for a sortie to the Bimini island. After 90 minutes, the radio operators got a signal that the compass was not functioning. Thereafter, the communication was lost and the Navy Avenger torpedo bombers were never discovered.

Dragon’s Triangle
The Dragon’s Triangle is the Bermuda’s Triangle counterpart in the Pacific Ocean. It was announced a war zone in 1950 when about 700 sailors disappeared in two years. The area is considered a danger by fishing authorities of Japan.
COMPASS PROBLEMS
Compass problems are one of the cited phrases in many Triangle incidents. While some have theorized that unusual local magnetic irregularity may exist in the area, such irregularities have not been found. Compasses have natural magnetic distinction in relation to the magnetic poles, facts which guide have known for centuries. Magnetic (compass) north and geographic (true) north are only exactly the same for a small number of places – for example, as of 2000, in the United States, only those places on a line running from the Wisconsin to the Gulf of Mexico. But the public may not be as informed, and think there is something unsolved about a compass “changing” across an area as large as the Triangle, which it naturally will.
Ellen Austin
The Ellen Austin supposedly came across a derelict ship, placed on board a prize crew, and attempted to sail with it to New York in 1881. According to the stories, the derelict disappeared; others elaborating further that the derelict reappeared minus the prize crew, and then disappeared again with a second prize crew on board. A check from Lloyd’s of London records proved the existence of the Meta, built in 1854 and that in 1880 the Meta was renamed Ellen Austin. There are no casualty listings for this vessel, or any vessel at that time, that would suggest a large number of missing men were placed on board a derelict that later disappeared.

HUMAN ERROR
One of the most cited explanations in official inquiries as to the loss of any aircraft or vessel is human error. Human stubbornness may have caused businessman Harvey Conover to lose his sailing yacht, the Revonoc, as he sailed into the teeth of a storm south of Florida on January 1, 1958.
