Nazi was a socialist party, which later grew into mass movement and ruled Germany under the leadership of Adolf Hitler. Nazi human testing was a series of medical experiments on large numbers of prisoners, including children, by Nazi Germany in its camps in the early to mid 1940s, during World War II. Chief target populations included Romani, ethnic Poles, Soviet POWs, disabled Germans, and most prominently of all Jews from across Europe.

1. SEA WATER EXPERIMENT
From July 1944 to September 1944, Nazis did an experiment that was held at Dachau. The purpose of this experiment was to test several different ways to make sea water drinkable through a variety of desalinization processes. That experiment was held by Dr. Hans Eppinger with Dr. Wilhelm Beiglboeck.
In the experiment, there were approximately 90 test subjects (Gypsies) who were divided into four different test groups: no water, sea water, sea water processes by the Berka method and seawater without salt. The test objects were only given very little food and seawater with chemicals in it. In order to gather data, the subjects were given either liver or spinal cord punctures.
Due to chemicals the test objects became extremely dehydrated. In fact, they were so dehydrated that others observed them drinking freshly mopped floors in an attempt to get drinkable water. When the experiment was finished, subjects who received some type of sea water ended up suffering excruciating torture, diarrhea, convulsions, hallucinations, foaming at the mouth, and in most cases, madness or death.
2. TUBERCULOSIS EXPERIMENT
TUBERCULOSIS EXPERIMENT was held by Dr. Kurt Heissmeyer at Neuengamme concentration camp Germany, in 1944. This experiment was conducted to see that, whether there was natural immunity of tuberculosis and to develop vaccine against TB. Dr. Heissmeyer injected tubercle bacilli in lungs of test objects to see the results. They also removed lymph glands from 20 Jewish children. About 200 subjects were perished. Dr. Heissmeyer had also 20 Jewish children from Auschwitz, which were hung in effort to hide the evidences of experiment from Allied Army.
3. STERILIZATION EXPERIMENTS
The law was passed in 1933, to encourage the growth of Aryan race with sterilization who fell under genetically defective. 1% citizens between age if 17 to 24 were sterilized in first 2 years of law passing, and after 4 years 300,000 patients had been sterilized.
The experiment was conducted from March 1941 to January 1945, by Dr. Carl Clauberg at Auschwitz. The experiment was by means of drugs, surgery and X-ray and conducted on both men and women. Thousands of patients were sterilized. Aside from this experiment about 400,000 victims were sterilized as part of Nazi Government’s “compulsory sterilization” Program.
Experiments with Intravenous injections of silver nitrate and iodine were successful but left unwanted side effects like abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding. A woman had caustic substances forced into her cervix or uterus, which caused horrible pain, bleeding, and bursting spasms in the stomach.

4. POISON EXPERIMENTS
From December 1943 and October 1944, poison experiments were conducted at Buchenwald to investigate the effects of several poisons. Poison was given to the subjects in their food. The subjects died due to poison or killed by doctors to permit Autopsy. In 1944, subjects were shot with poison bullets. In result of these experiments, they developed a method of execution of Russian prisoners with phenol and cyanide.

5. TWIN EXPERIMENTS
These experiments were conducted by Dr. Josef Mengele from 1943 to 1944 at Auschwitz to see the similarities and differences between genetics of twins as well as to see if the human body manipulated naturally. 1500 sets of imprisoned twins were the part of that experiment. They were divided according to their age and sex and kept in barracks during the experiments. Dr. Mengele injected chemicals in the eyes of twins to change their eye color. Twins as young as five years old killed after the experiment and their bodies were dissected. He made injections of lethal germs, sexual operations and removed the organs of limbs. He also made attempt to create Siamese twins by connecting their blood vessels and organs. The Siamese twins, created by him, were screamed all the night and died after 2-3 days.

6. IMMERSION HYPOTHERMIA PROJECT
The immersion hypothermia project was conducted at Dachau concentration camp between August 1942 and May 1943. Its purpose was to establish the most effective treatment for victims of immersion hypothermia, particularly crew members of the German air force who had been shot down into cold waters of the Northern Seas. During the experiments, the subjects were immersed in a tank of ice water. Some were anesthetized, others conscious; many ere naked, but others were dressed. Several different methods of re-warming the subjects were also tested. One assistant later testified that some victims were thrown into boiling water for re-warming. Approximately 100 people were reported to have died as a result of these experiments.

7. HEAD INJURY EXPERIMENT
In Baranowicze (occupied Poland) in mid 1942, this experiment was conducted by a well known Nazi SD Security Service in a small building behind his private home. In this experiment, a young boy of 11-12 years was strapped on a chair that he could not move and a mechanized hammer came on his head after every few seconds, the boy driven mad in result of this torture.

8. MUSTARD GAS EXPERIMENTS
From 1939 to 1945, many experiments were conducted at Sachsenhausen and Natzweiler to investigate the right treatment of wounds, caused by mustard gas. Test subjects were thrown in mustard gas, due to this; they had skin burns or wounds on their bodies. Then the wounds were tested to find most effective treatment of mustard gas wounds.

9. HIGH ALTITUDE EXPERIMENTS
These experiments were conducted at Dachau in 1942 by Dr. Sigmund Rascher to find out the ways to survive German pilots who forced to eject at very high altitude. Subjects were placed in a low-pressure chamber that simulated altitude as high as 68,000 feet. It was rumored that Sigmund dissect the brains of victims who survive in initial experiments to show that high-altitude sickness resulted from the formation of tiny air bubbles in the blood vessels of a certain part of the brain. Out of 200 victims, 80 were died during the experiment and remaining victims were executed the same night.

10. TRANSPLANT EXPERIMENT
Nazi doctors wanted to know, if a person’s joints or limbs are transplanted from one person to another. This experiment was conducted from September 1942 to December 1943 at Ravensbruck concentration camp. This experiment was specially conducted for German Armed Force to study the nerves, limbs, bones and muscles. In this experiment, limbs, bones and nerves were removed from subject’s body without anesthesia. Every attempt of transplant of joint was a failure and in result of these operations many victims suffered permanent disability or intense agony and other were killed.
